Here’s a challenge from the Save the Redwoods League: Ditch shopping on Black Friday and escape to the outdoors with a free California State Parks pass.

To get your pass, go to the Save the Redwoods League’s Park List page, pick a park you want to visit from the list, click the orange “Get Pass” button, and download your free pass.

Hurry, because these passes are going fast. When I checked today, only 14 parks still have free passes available.

These passes are good on Friday, November 24, only.
