Expanded Portland Winter Light Festival brightens the city February 1-3

More than 100 lighted art installations, kinetic fire sculptures, and live performances for the entire family brighten the city at the third annual Portland Winter Light Festival Thursday-Saturday, February 1-3, 6-11 p.m.

This year’s festival has expanded throughout the city and includes four dedicated hubs at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI), Portland General Electric (PGE) Headquarters/World Trade Center, the North Park Blocks, and Cathedral Park Place.

New installations include a 30-foot segmented worm built on five adult tricycles, backlit ping-pong, and a large robot tending a fiber-optic garden.
