Enjoy a miniature world of trains at the Enchanted Railroad through Monday, February 19, at the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois. More than 10 model trains wind through a collection of trees from around the world at a child-friendly height.
Entry to Enchanted Railroad is included with admission to the arboretum. Tickets to the Enchanted Railroad are available on a first-come, first-served basis the day of your visit. Pick up tickets at the Visitor Center Information Desk.
Admission to the arboretum is free for members. For non-members, rates are $14 adults ages 18-64, $12 seniors ages 65 and older, $9 youth ages 2-17, and free for children age 1 and younger. Admission is discounted on Wednesday to $9 adults and seniors and $6 youth. Buy tickets online or at the door. The special Wednesday discount is not available online.
The Morton Arboretum is located at 4100 Illinois Route 53 in Lisle, Illinois, 25 miles west of Chicago (get directions). The arboretum grounds are open daily, 7 a.m.-sunset; hours at other facilities vary.
