2021 Portland Winter Light Festival changes format due to COVID-19

The Portland Winter Light Festival will look different this year because of safety concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead of concentrating light sculptures in four areas as in years past, the festival will feature pop-up displays throughout Portland, Oregon.

Another difference this year is that the festival will be scheduled over two weekends instead of one long weekend. This year’s dates are Friday-Saturday, February 5-6 and February 12-13.

Plans are still underway. If you have ideas for an art installation or a large window in a prominent location, contact art@pdxwlf.com for information on how to become involved.
