Columbia River Gorge highways closed from heavy winds, snow, and ice

Update, February 14, 2021, 9:15 a.m.: Westbound I-84 is now open, but the eastbound lanes are still closed. SR 14 in Washington is still closed from milepost 19 to 65 until further notice.

The transportation departments in Oregon and Washington have closed two major highways through the Columbia River Gorge because of heavy winds, snow, and ice.

On the Oregon side of the Columbia River, Interstate 84 is closed from Troutdale to Hood River. In Washington, State Road 14 is closed from milepost 19 to 65.
