You might wonder why I’d write a post about Random Acts of Kindness Day for a travel blog. It’s simple: We can do this from anywhere.
I first thought about this after my mother and I were at a drive-through, picking up an order. When I started to pay, the server said, “It’s all taken care of. The driver in front of you paid for your order.”
The driver was long gone by then, so I couldn’t thank them. So, one day, I treated another stranger in return.
Nice News, an online publication focusing on only positive news, designated February 17 as Random Acts of Kindness Day. Yesterday, they posted an article with 17 suggestions for bringing happiness into someone else’s day.
The best part of this movement is: Not only can we practice random acts of kindness today, but we can also do it every day.
