
The Equamore Foundation, a sanctuary for rescued horses and donkeys east of Ashland, Oregon, is hosting an Open Barn Event on Sunday, May 5, from 2 until 4 p.m. Visit the animals and learn more about the foundation’s mission.
Refreshments will be served. Also enjoy live music by Hoof ‘n’ Heartbeats.
Reservations are not required for the Open Barn Event, and admission is free.
The Equamore Foundation was founded in 1991. It’s a nonprofit organization that cares for horses and donkeys rescued from abuse, neglect, or abandonment. After they’re rescued, these animals live the rest of their lives at the sanctuary. All funding for the organization comes from grants and donations.
