Finish some early Christmas shopping and meet local authors at the second annual NW Book Fun in the Sun at the Covington House, 4201 Main Street, in Vancouver, Washington. The event is on Saturday, August 17, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
More than 20 authors will be selling their books at tables set up inside and outside the Covington House. You can also attend a free writing workshop from 11 a.m. until noon.
Admission is free. Parking is limited at the Covington House, but additional parking is available across the street at the First Presbyterian Church.
