Light saber battles help victims and families of the Ghost Ship fire

Grab those light sabers and prepare for war this weekend! The 2016 Glow Battle Tour comes to four cities on the West Coast, where thousands will gather with sabers in hand to battle the forces of good and evil.

Proceeds will help victims and families of the tragic Ghost Ship warehouse fire December 2 in Oakland, California, which killed 36 people. It’s the worst disaster in Oakland’s history, reports the East Bay Times.

Here’s the battle schedule:

San Francisco

San Diego

Saturday, December 17, 8-11 p.m.

The Glow Battle Tour is hosted by Newmindspace, a non-profit organization based in Toronto that has organized more than 100 fun events for all ages since 2005 with proceeds going to different charities. Previous events include flag capturing games on city streets, parties on subway cars, bubble fights, and art installations. Newmindspace’s largest annual event is International Pillow Fight Day the first Saturday in April.
