From December 23 through February, the Mount Hood Meadows Ski Resort has a free shuttle going from the Hood River Event Site to the ski area. The shuttle runs daily through New Year’s Day and on weekends throughout January and February.

The shuttle also operates on Martin Luther King Day (Monday, January 15) and President’s Day (Monday, February 19).

Three buses, operated by First Student, will make three round trips to Mount Hood Meadows on days when the service is available. View the shuttle schedule.

The Hood River Event Site is at the corner of NE First Street and Portway Avenue, on the banks of the Columbia River. Daily parking costs $8 per car and $10 for oversized vehicles. Season passes are also available. View parking fees.

Hood River is 63 miles east of Portland, Oregon, about an hour’s drive.
