Hungry for crab? Want to dance to classic rock music while helping the sight and hearing impaired?
Then mark your calendar for the Lakewood First Lions Club’s Fifth Annual Crab Feed on Saturday, January 27, 6 p.m. at the Sharon McGavick Center at Clover Park Technical College, 4500 Steilacoom Blvd., Lakewood, Washington.
If you’re not a seafood fan, chicken is available as an alternative. Wine, beer, and soda are also available, or you can buy a bottle of wine from the club’s Wall of Wine.
The featured band is The Rockodiles, which describes itself as “long-time practitioners of authentic, lo-nonsense, good-time rock ‘n roll.” The band plays classic 1950s and 60s music of popular artists, such as Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and lesser-known names like Roy Head and The Liverpool Five.
Tickets are $50 per person. Buy tickets online by January 18. All proceeds go to the Lakewood First Lions Club’s sight and hearing projects and programs.
