Morning Glory Balloon Tours hosts and operates one of the earliest hot air balloon festivals of the season in northcentral Washington from Friday, March 2, through Sunday, March 4. Watch more than a dozen colorful hot air balloons from around the Northwest float high above the Old West town of Winthrop and the beautiful snow-capped North Cascades.

Now in its 21st year, the Winthrop Balloon Festival allows you to experience flying in a hot air balloon and the Methow Valley’s world-class winter activities: Nordic skiing, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, snowmobiling, and sledding.

Stop in downtown Winthrop on Saturday night, March 3, to see the Balloon Night Glow. All of the balloons will be lit like colorful lanterns.
