The 2018 Portland Dragon Boat Festival is coming this weekend! Watch these beautiful, brightly colored boats compete on the Willamette River in downtown Portland starting at 8:30 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, September 8 and 9.
All races are 500-meter, except for the Race Around the Bridges final. The course runs along the Willamette River parallel to the RiverPlace Marina at 315 SW Montgomery Street on the downtown Portland side, as shown in this map.
Parking is available at RiverPlace Marina for a fee, or you can take the Portland Streetcar’s A Loop to the marina and walk the equivalent of three blocks to the waterfront.
