On the first Sunday in December, two blocks of Main Street in Vancouver’s Uptown Village close to vehicles for a grand celebration the annual Reindeer Block Party.

Come for a stroll. Browse the vendor booths and pick up some unique handcrafted gifts. Pose with Santa for a free photo. Enjoy live music and delicious food. Get your face painted. And meet Comet and Blitzen, two famous reindeer from Santa’s team.

You’ll find the festivities on Main Street, between West 23rd and 24th Streets, Sunday, December 2, from 1 to 4 p.m. Admission is free.

Park in designated spots on streets that aren’t closed, or take public transit. City bus routes #31 Hazel Dell and #71 Highway 99 stop along Broadway Street, one block away. Plan your trip at the C-Tran website.
