The Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries in southwest Washington are hosting a series of free events throughout the system in December to celebrate the holiday season.

- 1-3 p.m.—Holiday Open House at the Battle Ground Community Library, 1207 SE Eighth Way in Battle Ground
- 9 a.m.-3 p.m.—Hometown Celebration at the Ridgefield Community Library, 210 North Main Avenue in Ridgefield
- 2-5 p.m.—Holiday Wassail at the White Salmon Valley Community Library, 77 NE Wauna Avenue in White Salmon
Tuesday, December 4
6-8 p.m.—Holiday Card Making Workshop at the Stevenson Community Library, 120 NW Vancouver Avenue in Stevenson
Thursday, December 6
4-5:30 p.m.—Jeffree White’s Rain or Shine Trio Winter Concert at the Washougal Community Center, 1681 C Street in Washougal (next door to the Washougal Community Library)
Wednesday, December 9
2-3 p.m.—Introduction to Sewing Machines at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C Street in downtown Vancouver
Thursday, December 13
7-8:30 p.m.—Becoming American: One Nation with Many Stories at the Cascade Park Community Library, 600 NE 136th Avenue in East Vancouver
Friday, December 14
6-8 p.m.—Harry Potter Yule Ball for Tweens and Teens at the Three Creeks Community Library, 800-C NE Tenney Road in Vancouver
