Hayrides, fireworks, free photos with Santa, and live entertainment are among the festivities to kick off the holiday season on Friday evening, December 7, in downtown Camas, Washington.
Here’s an overview of the night’s activities:
- 4:45 p.m.—Free shuttle service starts from designated parking lots
- 5-9 p.m.—Free photos with Santa
- 6 p.m.—Entertainment begins, in front of Liberty Theatre
- 6:20 p.m.—Welcome by Mayor Shannon Turk, Council Member Steve Hogan, and a special guest, in front of the Liberty Theatre
- 6:30 p.m.—Tree lighting and fireworks
- 6:45-9 p.m.—More than 22 entertainers and activities throughout downtown, including school and community choirs, bands, dancers, hayrides, kids’ crafts, and street food vendors
- 8 p.m.—A Christmas Story movie at the historic Liberty Theatre (admission $6 per person)
- 9:30 p.m.—Last free shuttle to the parking lots
Downtown restaurants and shops are open for business throughout the evening.
