Our winter blast this weekend has affected a lot of events in Western Washington and Oregon, from cancellations of Michelle Obama’s appearances in Tacoma and Portland, Bob Seger’s concert in Tacoma, and now, Chocofest 2019 in Seattle. The Pike Brewing Company, which hosts the annual event, posted the announcement tonight:

“Due to updated inclement weather conditions, Pike Chocofest will be postponed for the safety of our guests, nonprofit and vendor partners, and staff. By Wednesday, February 13, we will announce a new event date. Thank you for your support and patience!”

Chocofest is a Valentine’s Day celebration that features unlimited food bites from 24 local restauarnts and chocolatiers, along with drinks from 30 local wineries, brewers, and distillers (view the complete list).

Tickets are $64.71 per person for this 21-and-older event (order online). The price includes unlimited food, 10 drink tickets, live music from Septimus and Rouge, and a Chocofest commemorative glass.

Chocofest will be held at the Pike Brewing Company, 1415 First Avenue, between Pike and Union Streets in downtown Seattle.

Proceeds from Chocofest benefit the Washington Trails Association.
