Nature demos, salmon releases at Earth Day Fest 2019! in Vancouver, WA

This year’s Earth Day is Monday, April 22. The Clark Public Utilities StreamTeam and Clark County Public Works are celebrating early at Earth Day Fest 2019!

Put on your walking shoes or bring your bicycle to the Salmon Creek Greenway in Vancouver, Washington, on Saturday, April 20. Enjoy family-friendly fun and games, live entertainment, interactive nature demonstrations, and wildlife shows. Watch salmon releases into Salmon Creek.

Admission and parking are free. The Salmon Creek Greenway is located at 800 NE 117th Street. The festival activities are near Klineline Pond from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

From 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., the StreamTeam is planting trees in the greenway and Girl Scout Troop 45703 members are pulling garlic mustard.
