Learn about what we can do in our urban and wild forests at “A Walk in the Woods”, the 20th annual Arbor Festival at the Yakima Area Arboretum on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m. More than 40 stations provide hands-on learning about the environment, crafts, and other displays. Bring your own bag to fill up with the goodies you’ll find.
More than 600 families will also take home their own tree to plant in their yard in honor of Arbor Day.
While you’re at the at the arboretum, stroll the grounds and enjoy the beautiful trees and plants. You might even see some birds and other wildlife.
Admission to Arbor Fest and parking are free. The Yakima Area Arboretum is located at 1401 Arboretum Drive in Yakima, Washington.
