Enjoy jazz from 13 bands and vocalists at the 2019 Greater Hartford Festival of Jazz Friday-Sunday, July 19-21, at Bushnell Park. The festival kicks off at 7 p.m. with the Funky Dawgz Jazz Band.
Other artists performing during the festival include Delfeayo Marsalis and The Uptown Jazz Orchestra, Jasmin Ghent, the Braxton Brothers, and Steve Clarke. The Nat Reeves Experience closes out the festival.
At 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 21, Christ Church Cathedral hosts a Jazz Mass with Ross Tucker and the Hot Cat Jazz Band.
Also purchase food and crafts during the festival. (As of today, the list of vendors has not been posted on the jazz festival site. Check this page for updates.)
Activities for the kids will be available but haven’t been announced yet.
Bushnell Park is located at 99 Trinity Street in Hartford, Connecticut. Metered street parking is available. The meters are free after 6 p.m. weekdays and all day on weekends. Get directions to the park.
