In March and April, Washington State’s Skagit Valley springs alive with bright colors. The daffodils arrive first, quickly followed by acres of tulips.
Throughout April, towns in the valley celebrate the season with the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival. Some farms open for visitors to explore the fields, take pictures, and buy flowers and souvenirs at their gift shops. Bloom season is also a favorite time for bike rides and drives through the valley.
Here are some pictures from my previous trips to the Skagit Valley when the flowers are in full bloom. We’ll make two stops at Roozengaarde Flowers & Bulbs and Tulip Town, both in Mount Vernon, Washington. Enjoy!
