The COVID-19 pandemic has caused many events to cancel because of the state bans on large gatherings, but some organizations are finding creative ways to move forward. The Woodland Planters Days is among them. The annual festival on Thursday-Sunday, June 18-21, in Woodland, Washington, will move forward without any physical gatherings.
“On behalf of the Woodland Planters Days Celebration Committee, we thank you for your continuous support,” the committee posted on the Woodland Planters Days’ website. “The Committee continues to plan the 98th celebration in a format that gives consideration to our current circumstances. We’ve chosen to pause on any element that includes public gatherings. Many suggestions have been made regarding virtual events and we are looking into what we can still do responsibly.”
