Typically Fremont’s solstice celebration north of Seattle consists of a parade filled with colorful, quirky characters and displays that end at Gasworks Park for food, music, and fun. But because of the ban on large gatherings from COVID-19, this year’s celebration is moving online.
Starting at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 20, you can watch videos of the entrants accepted into the parade. The deadline for entries has been extended until 12 a.m. on Tuesday, June 9. View the entry rules on the Fremont Arts Council’s submission guidelines page.
Instructions for streaming the parade are at the Fremont Arts Council’s Solstice Parade website. Also check for updates on the Fremont Solstice Parade Facebook page.
