The City of Ridgefield, Washington, is hosting a 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge this summer. Walk, run, hike, paddle, or bike 100 miles from National Trails Day, which is Saturday, June 6, through Monday, September 14. Everyone who finishes within the timeframe will receive a finisher’s prize and be entered into a grand prize raffle.
Anyone can sign up. Here’s how it works:
- Register for the challenge on Eventbrite. It’s free unless you want the T-shirt, which is $5.
- After you finish registering, you’ll receive a log to record your miles. Motorized boat miles do not count, and each mile by a bicycle counts as a half mile.
- Submit your completed log sheet online or at the Ridgefield City Hall at 230 Pioneer Street no later than Monday, September 21.
For more details, go to the 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge page.
Good luck, and have fun!
