On Thursday, August 20, Purrington’s Cat Lounge will reopen for takeout orders only. They’ll sell coffee, pastries, bottles of wine and beer, and some pantry items like oat and almond milk and granola.

Order ahead at Purrington’s online store and pick up your items Thursday through Sunday, 8 a.m. until 2 p.m.

Currently, Purrington’s Cat Lounge doesn’t have any cat residents because of health and safety concerns related to COVID-19, “but we would love to see you and could really use your support so that we can move forward with our mission to find loving, permanent homes for cats in the future!” the owners said in a statement on Instagram.

Purrington’s Cat Lounge is located at 3529 NE Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard in northeast Portland.
