Tri-Met gradually resuming operations after shutdown from snow and ice, while C-Tran has limited service

The President’s Day weekend snow and ice storm caused Tri-Met in Portland, Oregon, to shut down yesterday. As of this morning, some MAX lines and bus routes are operating again with limited service. Check for updates at trimet.org/#alerts.

Tri-Met is encouraging everyone to stay at home today, if possible. More snow and sleet are in the forecast throughout today into Monday morning.

The Portland Streetcar is not operating because of ice on the tracks. Get updates at portlandstreetcar.org.

Across the Columbia River in Vancouver, Washington, C-Tran buses are in operation but have limited service. C-VAN is operating for code red, life-saving trips only. Go to c-tran.com for the latest information.

C-Tran officials are also encouraging everyone to stay at home today, if possible.
