Another popular Portland running event is going virtual this year because of the COVID pandemic. The Rip City for the Roses supports a great cause: The Albertina Kerr’s services and programs for kids, teens, and adults with intellectual and/or development disabilities.
This year’s event runs from Sunday, April 25, through Sunday, June 30. To participate, sign up online. Choose from a half marathon, 10K, or 5K. Then run, walk, or roll anywhere during the dates listed above.
Kids can join in on the fun, too, with the Nike Made to Play 1K.
Registration is $40 per person for the half marathon, 10K, or 5K, and $10 for the Nike Made to Play 1K. Register and get more information at the Rip City Race for the Roses website.
