Want to hike the Issaquah Alps and Mount Si in North Bend, Washington, this summer but don’t want to struggle finding a parking spot? There’s no need to worry, because Trailhead Direct, a transit-to-trails shuttle service provided by King County Metro, returns on Saturday, June 5. The shuttle will run weekends and holidays until Sunday, September 26.

For the 2021 summer season, the designated holidays are Monday, July 5, for Independence Day and Monday, September 6, for Labor Day.

To protect everyone from the spread of COVID, masks are required onboard the shuttles and in the waiting areas. The shuttles have safety partitions and upgraded air filters, and are disinfected daily.

One-way fares range from $1 to $2.75. Exact change, ORCA cards, and activated Transit GO mobile tickets are accepted. Get ORCA cards at orcacard.com.
