Organizers of the 2021 Air Affaire, also known as the Sequim Balloon Festival, have set a tentative date of Saturday, August 28, for the annual event at the Sequim Valley Airport. (“Sequim” is pronounced “Squim”.)

“We are optimistic that with vaccines becoming widely available by early summer, this event will take place,” a statement reads on the festival’s website.

The event features hot air balloon and helicopter rides, aerial demonstrations, antique plane exhibitions, a classic car show, music, food, and many more activities.

More information about the festival will be posted after July 1. Check for updates at olympicpeninsulaairaffaire.com.

The Seqium Valley Airport is located at 468 Dorothy Hunt Lane in Seqium, Washington, on the north end of the Olympic Peninsula.
