The Alice Austen House Museum and Flagship Brewery are relaunching Comfort Home, a hibiscus-infused Pilsner named after photographer Alice Austen’s family home on the north end of Staten Island, to celebrate Pride Month. The celebration also commemorates the fourth anniversary of the Alice Austen House receiving its LGBTQ+ historic site designation.
The celebration, which will be held at the Flagship Brewery, is Saturday, June 5, 1-4 p.m. It includes music by DJ Kitty and these craft vendors:
- Roc-A-Natural, holistic health and beauty products by Dorcas Meyers
- Let’s Get Wired Creations, unusual and strange trinkets by Christine Cruz
- Sage Reynolds, Artist and Designer
General admission tickets are $6, plus processing fees, and are available at Evenbrite.
Flagship Brewery’s address is 40 Minthorne Street on Staten Island.
The Alice Austen House Museum is located at 2 Hylan Boulevard. Visit aliceausten.org for more information and other events.
