A month ago, Florence, Oregon, officials announced that they were not hosting a fireworks show for Independence Day this year because of the coronavirus pandemic. But now that more people have been vaccinated and there are fewer restrictions in Oregon, the show is on again, according to a report on KVAL-TV’s website.

The show is also listed on the Florence Chamber of Commerce’s events page.

The report on KVAL-TV’s website states that the fireworks show will take place in Florence’s Historic Old Town starting at 10 p.m. on Sunday, July 4. The fireworks will be launched over the Siuslaw River from the east end of the Siuslaw Port Campground, which will allow spectators to see the show from multiple vantage points.
