Immerse yourself in an intimate, interactive public art event disguised as a family reunion in and around a vintage Airstream trailer at Caravan Chronicles. It’s created by theater simple, which is well-known for creating innovative experiences that seem impossible to pull off (but they do successfully and to the delight of their audiences).
Caravan Chronicles is scheduled mid- to late August in different parks in Pierce County:
- Saturday, August 14, at Wapato Park, 6500 South Sheridan Avenue in Tacoma
- Sunday, August 15, at Stewart Heights Park, 5715 Reginald Gutierrez Lane in Tacoma
- Sunday, August 22, and Saturday, August 28, at a Pierce County Park (to be determined)
All performances begin at 2 p.m. Before each performance, interactive games will be available starting at 1:30 p.m.
Admission is free.
