Step back in time to watch vintage machinery in operation and learn about those original innovations at the 50th annual Great Oregon Steam-up at Powerland Heritage Park in Brooks. Activities include traditional tractor pulls, threshing, flour milling, steam sawmilling, fire appartus demos, and train and trolley rides.

A parade featuring antique cars, tractors, and trucks is scheduled at 1:30 each day of the event. Kids can try out the pedal-powered tractor pulling.

Also enjoy shopping at a flea market, food, live country music, and much more.

The Great Oregon Steam-up is on two weekends: July 24-25 and July 31-August 1. Hours are 7 a.m. until 6 p.m. each day. At 8 a.m. on Sundays, a church service will be held in the Music Hall.

Tickets are $15 for adults, $10 students ages 12-17, and free for children 11 and younger. Tickets are timed in two-hour increments, and children eligible for free admission must have a ticket. Get more information about The Great Oregon Steam-up and buy tickets at antiquepowerland.com/steam-up.

Powerland Heritage Park’s address is 3995 Brooklake Lane NE, Salem, Oregon.
