Pioneer Power Show and Swap Meet August 21-22 in Union Gap, Washington

See vintage agricultural equipment on display and in a parade. Watch the old-fashioned wheat threshing process and munch on freshly baked bread. Check out the draft horse buggy, apple packing line, and sawmill demonstrations. Enjoy the tractor pulls and tractor games. Listen to live music and shop at the flea market.

These are just a few of the activities happening Saturday-Sunday, August 21-22, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Pioneer Power Show and Swap Meet. The event celebrates its 40th anniversary in 2021 at its usual spot, the Central Washington Agricultural Museum in Union Gap.

Several free activities are available for the kids, such as the kiddie train, kiddie wagon, and the animal swing. Also, drive an excavator.

Displays include historic exhibits about agriculture in the Yakima Valley, quilts, and information about the Pacific Northwest Vintage Snowmobile Club.

Admission is $5 per person, ages 13 and older. Children 12 and younger are free.

The Central Washington Agricultural Museum is located in Fullbright Park at 4508 Main Street.
