Cannon Beach is celebrating its 57th annual sandcastle competition virtually through the Summer of Sandcastles. It’s open to anyone from anywhere.

To participate, sign up at cannonbeach.org by Monday, September 6. Build your sandcastle, and submit a high-resolution photo or 30-second video of your masterpiece to the Sandcastle Committee at the Cannon Beach Chamber of Commerce. Also, if you want, share your photo or video on social media.

All options for submitting images of your work is on the registration form (in PDF).

The chamber decided to hold a virtual event this year due to ongoing concerns from the COVID-19 pandemic. They’re expecting to hold the next in-person event on Saturday, June 11, 2022.
