Alpacas are cute and irresistible. Their big, brown eyes, soft wool, and endless smiles can melt anyone’s heart.
This weekend, get up close and personal with these gentle creatures at Alpacapalooza at the Clark County Event Center at the Fairgrounds, 17204 NE Deifel Road, in Ridgefield, Washington. Pet the alpacas, talk to their owners, watch the judges evaluate the alpaca’s wool quality in a walking fleece competition, and buy products made from alpaca wool.

And for $1, you can take a selfie with an alpaca. Proceeds go to alpaca education and research.
