Full-moon snowga near Mount Hood March 1

Enjoy a snowshoe hike while practicing yoga and enjoying a beautiful view of Mount Hood on Thursday, March 1. It’s an activity called snowga, and it’s a fun way to exercise body and soul.

An experienced guide from Mt. Hood Adventure will lead you on this approximately 3-mile full-moon trek in this winter wonderland. Sunset is at 5:56 p.m. on March 1, so if it’s a clear evening, you’ll enjoy Mount Hood’s alpenglow and its splendor in the moonlight.

The tour costs $65 per person, which includes snowshoes and trekking poles, or $55 per person if you bring your own gear. Reservations are required. To register, call (503) 715-2175.

On the day of the tour, check in at 5:30 p.m. at Mt. Hood Adventure in the Huckleberry Inn, 88661 East Government Camp Loop, Government Camp, Oregon. Government Camp is 56 miles southeast of Portland.
