For 40 years, the original Pagliacci Pizza location on The Ave in the University District has been a popular stop for pie fans in Seattle. Now it says good-by on its last day of business on Thursday, July 26, by dishing up free slices of its delicious pizza from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
A statement on Pagliacci’s Facebook page this morning reads, “Please stop in and say your goodbyes, and if you can’t make it, tag us and share your favorite memories and pictures from our University location.”
Although it’s the end of an era, it isn’t over. Pagliacci has 25 locations throughout the Seattle metro area, and more are coming.
Pagliacci’s Ave store is at 4529 University Way NE, one block north of NE 45th Street (The Ave).
