The Seaside Aquarium is asking the public to keep an eye out for an injured fur seal last seen on a local beach on Wednesday.

The seal was spotted with a rope around his neck on the south end of Seaside beach.

“We were hoping to capture the little guy and remove the rope,” the aquarium posted on its Facebook page. “Unfortunately, he was quite spry and swam away as soon as we approached.”
