Fairy Festival fun for all ages in Manchester, ME

Every year in early March, Longfellow’s Greenhouses in Manchester, Maine, invites you to dust off your fairy wings and join the staff in a day of family fun. This year’s Fairy Festival is on Saturday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The kids can enjoy fairy coloring, dress up in fairy and dragon tattoos, and wave fairy wands.

Get pictures made in the photo booth. Enjoy free fairy nectar and snacks.

For the adults, there are two workshops:

  • Create a Fairy Garden—Make a tiny garden with miniature plants, rocks, and mosses, and fairy accents. Two workshops are available at 10 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. The cost is $35 per person, and includes all supplies.
  • Create a Fairy Garden—Make a tiny fairy garden in a hanging glass terrarium with rocks, mosses, and fairy accents. This workshop starts at 1:30 p.m. The cost is $20 per person and includes all supplies.
