Do you have a cat who prefers the limelight over a sunspot? Then she’ll enjoy competing in the first annual Amateur Cat Show hosted by the Loyal Biscuit Company and the Humane Society Waterville Area on Sunday, April 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. The show will be held at the Loyal Biscuit Company’s store at 109 Main Street in Waterville, Maine.

Loyal Biscuit Company is accepting applications for the show, and spots are limited. If your cat is interested in entering (because, after all, cats are in charge), contact chelsie@loyalbiscuit.com. You must submit your cat’s application by Saturday, April 20.

The judges for the show are:

  • Loyal Biscuit Company’s Waterville store manager, Adam the “Cat Guy”
  • A representative from the Humane Society Waterville Area
  • Celebrity guest judge Dr. Matt Townsend from Hometown Veterinary Care in Fairfield, Maine

The show is open to the public. Admission is free, but donations are requested to support the humane society’s shelter. Humane Society Waterville Area will bring a few cats that are available for adoption, along with information about adopting or fostering cats and dogs.
