Organizers of the Vancouver Brewfest posted an announcement on the event’s website that the spring festival in Vancouver, Washington, has been cancelled because of concerns over the coronavirus. New cases were reported in Washington, Oregon, and California yesterday. Health officials in Washington reported today that one person has died, which marks the first death from the coronavirus in the United States.

Plans continue for the summer brewfest scheduled on Friday-Saturday, August 7-8.
