Are you interested in learning how to draw? Or do you want to brush up on your drawing skills? If you have kids, do they love to draw? Common Street Arts, a program of Waterville Creates! in Waterville, Maine, is hosting two free classes this week to enhance your creativity.

All ages are welcome on Tuesday, March 31, for “Virtual Art Club for All: Kitchen Still Life“. Grab a pencil, paper, some colorful markers, and whatever kitchen objects you have that you want to draw. Sharing your masterpieces after class is encouraged, but not required.

On Thursday, April 2, kids can learn to draw a tree at “Virtual After School Art Club- Plein Air in your yard“. This is part of a weekly series that will continue until Maine’s shelter-in-place rules from the COVID-19 pandemic lift and children can return to sessions at Common Street Arts. The weekly virtual sessions are free.

All sessions are streamed live at 3-4 p.m. Eastern time (noon-1 p.m. Pacific) on Common Street Arts’ Facebook page. Also check this page for updates and more virtual classes.
