Update, January 1, 2021: Watch the recording of the show at spaceneedle.com/newyears. The video runs 11 minutes 30 seconds.
New Year’s revelers can’t go to the Space Needle in Seattle this year to celebrate, thanks to COVID, but the party will still go on. T-Mobile and the Space Needle have teamed up to create an eleborate light show on and around the famous structure from the 1962 World’s Fair. It’s not clear whether fireworks will be included, which has been a tradition in years past, so we’ll have to wait and see.
If you live in Seattle, you can watch the festivities on KING 5 TV. If you don’t but live in the U.S., you can stream it live at king5.com/watch on New Year’s Eve starting at 11:35 p.m. Pacific time.
International viewers will have access via the Space Needle’s YouTube channel starting at midnight Pacific time. Go to spaceneedle.com/newyears for instructions.
