Learn about some of the trees in the Lakewold Gardens in University Place, Washington, south of Tacoma, in a series of virtual tours. John Wilcox, a long-time volunteer at the gardens, leads these seven tours. Each tour features a different tree.

The seven videos are on Lakewold Gardens’ YouTube channel and range from two to three minutes. The videos were created during the Adopt a Tree campaign.

Here’s the complete list of tours, along with links to each video.

  1. The Empress Tree (2:45)
  2. Giant Sequoia (2:56)
  3. Dawn Redwood (2:44)
  4. The Wolf Tree (3:13)
  5. The Persian Ironwood (2:07)
  6. Franklin Tree (2:48)
  7. The Copper Beech (2:28)
