Live opera is coming to the Marin Center drive-in in San Francisco’s Bay Area this spring. Two performances by the San Francisco Opera have been adapted to the drive-in stage:

  • The Barber of Seville, Friday, April 23-Saturday, May 15
  • The Adlers: Live at the Drive-in, Thursday, April 29-Thursday, May 13

Ticket prices range from $50 to $250 per car, depending on where you park. The $250 level allows you to see the set and actors on stage. The $50 level provides access to a simulcast projected on the drive-in movie screen.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Tuesday, March 23. For more information and to buy tickets, visit

The Marin Center is located at 10 Avenue of the Flags in San Rafael, California.

If you can’t make the live performances, a streaming option of the recordings will be available late spring. More details will be posted on
