Organizers for the Leavenworth Spring Bird Fest decided to fly ahead with an event this spring. It’s scheduled Thursday-Sunday, May 13-16.

In a post on the festival’s Facebook page, the organizers wrote:

“We are currently planning for a hybrid festival model that will include both virtual events and small, in person events.

“We are committed to following state and local COVID guidance at Bird Fest 2021. Planning an event during COVID asks for flexibility from all of us, as what we are able to offer and in what format may have to change.

“We will be updating the Bird Fest page on the Wenatchee River Institute website as we have more event information.”
