Support animals looking for their forever homes at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington’s 30th annual Walk/Run for the Animals Saturday, May 1. This year, there are two ways to participate: either walking a loop in downtown Vancouver on May 1 or running at any time from April 26 to May 1.
The loop in downtown Vancouver is set up to keep everyone distanced and safe from spreading the coronavirus. You can start walking loop any time from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. but must be finished by 3 p.m. There are seven stops along the way with food, drinks, entertainment, and chances to win prizes.
If you prefer running, register at the Humane Society for Southwest Washington’s website and complete your run anywhere by the end of the day on May 1.
Registration for either the walk or run is $50 per person 13 and older and free for children 12 and younger. Learn more about the event and register at Walk/Run for the Animals.
