New Mount St. Helens exhibit at North Clark Historical Museum

Updaate, May 30, 2021: I stopped at the museum yesterday and it was closed. A sign on the door shows the hours as noon-4 p.m. the second and fourth Saturday of the month, whereas the website states the museum is open every Saturday at that time.

The North Clark Historical Museum is hosting an exhibit about Mount St. Helens before, during, and after the eruption on May 18, 1980. The museum’s hours are now noon until 4 p.m. every Saturday.

The museum is located at 21416 NE 399th Street in Amboy, in a former church next to the Territorial Community Park. in a former church dedicated in 1910. The church is being renovated to display local Native American, pioneer, and logging artifacts.

Admission is free.
