After a closure because of the COVID pandemic, the McAllister Museum of Aviation and gift shop are now open again. The museum’s hours are Thursday-Saturday, 11 a.m.-3 p.m., according to an email I received from Yakima Valley Tourism this week.

Private tours are available for anyone who cannot visit the museum during regular hours or prefer having less contact with the general public. These tours must be scheduled in advance. Admission for private tours is $2 per person.
